Welcome to Rhona's Kitchen. I'm so excited to launch my Cooking and Baking Blog. My love for cooking was inspired by my late Mom Yvonne McLaren. I have the fondest memories growing up as a little girl, spending a lot of time with my Mom in the kitchen, watching her make the most delicious dishes. She showed me how to make her favourite dishes as well as cakes, tarts and puddings and shared her little secrets for each dish. My Mom was also an avid gardener, growing her own vegetables in our back yard. Today I have my own herb and veggie garden which I am just as passionate and excited about. it gives me such pleasure to go to my garden each morning and pick what I need to cook with for that day. I love working in the soil, planting new seeds/shoots and tending to my garden. I am passionate about my Kitchen, and I truly believe that passion will be relayed back to my readers through the innovative and exciting content that I post.
